Going Beyond the Combine: Yield Data & Soil Health Research
In our September 2020 Soil Sessions webinar, we highlighted the basics of setting up and collecting harvest data with your yield monitor. Now, we build on that conversation by digging into what happens with your data once it leaves the field. SHP Field Team Director Keith Byerly and Geospatial Data Analyst Jacob Ness will share how data is ‘cleaned’ and ways we can use the information collected to paint a bigger picture of what’s happening on your farm. While yield is only one piece of the puzzle, it can provide important insights into how and where you can continue building soil health on your operation.
