John Mesko is the Development Director for the Soil Health Partnership. He graduated with a Bachelors degree in Agronomy and a Masters degree in Agricultural Economics, both from Purdue University.
His diverse career in agriculture, includes successful experience in sales, marketing, research, business development, farm management, university extension, and nonprofit management. This knowledge is put to use every day at SHP to bring agriculture together toward better outcomes for farmers, consumers, and the environment by focusing on soil health building practices.
John grew up on a diversified crop and livestock farm in Minnesota, gaining a passion for farming and tremendous respect for farmers. He now resides in St. Paul, Minnesota, where he uses competitive indoor rowing to offset the effects of his search for the perfect steak dinner and Irish whiskey combination. John joined the Soil Health Partnership in 2019.
